These days :: sewing and baking

I have been sewing a lot and also baking some. And I took the pictures necessary to make some tutorials to come in the next weeks.

There is this bracelet that my son made (he sews the button) as a gift, a great choice for little ones gifts, I think.

 

There is also this little wallet.

A car bag for kids stuff.

Boys pants.

And the play mat, all very simple projects to complete in 1-2 hours, great for last minute holiday gifts.

On the baking front there is this pumpkin flan and this banana super healthy mini cakes.

Pumpkin Pie

So, Pumpkin Pie is not a very common here in Mexico, but I wanted to make one, and the result was great, I took this recipe, but alter it adding cardamom, pumpkin seeds and nuts.

I love how my kid now helps with the baking and is so interested on it, I didn't tought this was going to happen so soon.

Also I made a pair of sleepers for him, I finally make the right pattern so now I will make him some pretty ones, but at least they fit him.
