Easter

I haven't shared our Easter, so, late but here it is.

As usual I made a map, this is more for me too, because it's usually late are night the day before that I place the eggs, meaning I'm very tired and I would forget instantly were I placed them, I don't want any of melting away lost among the house, so I made the map and give it to my kid.

I made three knitted bunnies and left the smaller one next to the map to be the guide.

I want to say that  I made all these craft things out of pleasure, I rally enjoy doing them, and I guess that's my way to add joy to my kid's childhood. I'm not so comfortable with the idea of magic, I just to see the point, I feel it like a lie, but we do enjoy playing magical pretend games and reading.

He was very happy with the bunnies that were quickly add to the bunch of sleeping companions, and insisted to share the chocolate eggs, such a kind heart this one, I love him so much.

Easter

I'm getting ready for Sunday with some chocolate eggs a little basket for my son to collect them and 3 knitted bunnies on the work right now.

He has been feeling not so well, trowing up last night and the night before, so we are going slow today, I hope he will get better soon, he is not so bad and no fever has appear, so I think he will get better on his own, (I hope).

Yarn Along :: Theater reading

Yarn Along it's a day of the week to share what you are knitting and reading created by Ginny, you can add your post here every Wednesday or to the flickr group any day.

I don't think that I have mention, but my formal education is as an actress, I did Dramatic literature and theater career at UNAM, the best public University in Mexico. But I didn't finished, I'm missing a class and my thesis, I have made efforts for finishing before, but not very good ones, this time I do intend to first approved my class and then proceed with a project to them make a report that will be valid as thesis.

I'm still unsure about if making a radio show for kids or a some little plays for toddlers based in that book above and maybe John Jolt's books.

Also I got this nice manual to help me prepare my birth classes, not sure that I can recommend any of these, unless you are interested on the subjects.

On the knitting front I almost done with this sock, is taking me forever right? Love the yarn.

I'm still working on the socks, link here, I feel that I'm progressing too slow.
We saw this documentary the other day and we got interested on Mary Poppins, so we are reading it now, I had no idea that P.L. Travers had such an interesting life.

What are you up to this week?

Yarn Along :: Socks and Holt

Yarn Along it's a day of the week to share what you are knitting and reading created by Ginny, you can add your post here every Wed. or to the flickr group any day.

I've been knitting socks by order, someone asked me to knit socks for her kids, so  I'm starting the second pair and reading John Holt because we are back on the homeschooling life (such a bless).

Also I was creating a pair of gloves specially for when I took my kid to school in mornings by bike, but since I 'm no taking him anymore and the cold seams to have ended here in Mexico City I think I'll finish them but I will not use them until next fall.

So, what you are up to?

Getting back to writting

I have been away of my blogs for while, not only this one but the one in Spanish too. I guess it was part of a series of processes.

But I missed it. So here I am,

There is so much I want to share, we are at a process right now, as life is, actually.

But I'll share it slowly.

For today I'll start by joining Nicole on his Keep Calm Craft On  sharing the gloves I'm knitting now, I started them on Sunday because loose my pair of gloves and mornings here in Mexico City are so cold, and I use the bike to take my kid to school, so I really need ones.

I designed them as I go, and I was thinking on putting the pattern on sale, not sure if it would be a good idea.
